Brief Pulse ECT Machine – Overview
Brief pulse ECT remains one of the most effective treatments for severe depression, catatonia and treatment-resistant psychiatric illness. The MEDICA digital brief pulse range delivers a bi-directional square-wave stimulus with microprocessor-based monitoring and energy calculation, in a lightweight, portable unit.
The MEDICA BPE-591 (2-channel) offers 0.8 A constant current, 20 – 90 Hz in six steps, pulse width 0.1 – 2 ms and stimulus duration up to 5.9 seconds, delivering 2.7 – 160 J. The BPE-791 adds built-in two-channel EEG/ECG with a thermal array printer in a 2 kg body for documentation at the bedside.
Every machine ships with spring-loaded headbands, rubber strap electrodes, bite blocks, earthing wire, dust cover, conductive jelly, manual and carry bag. RS Enterprises supplies, installs and services MEDICA ECT units across East and Northeast India.
